We're seeing an odd problem with a newly installed Accounting server. Our clients can connect to it using hostname but cannot connect to it via IP address. Users in both cases make the connection to the server and are prompted for credentials. The device
pings from the clients via both hostname and IP. I've looked at the arp cache and verified that the MAC address matches the host we're trying to connect to. Can anyone provide insight or additional troubleshooting steps?
