RDS Certificate Mismatches When deploying RDS to a “.local” Domain and publishing RDS externally

Hi All,

I know many people have asked the question and one way or the other they have resolved their problem. I am currently in process of deploying RD, all on one server.

I am having certificate mismatch issue e.g. my internal domain is .local and published is .net so when users connect they get a certificate mismatch warning prompt but after clicking ok to the message they can access the resource fine.

To resolve the issue of certificate mismatch i came across this website http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/Change-published-FQDN-for-2a029b80 used the powershell cmdlet and now after login via the RDWeb if I try to access a remote app i get this error

Internal external domain

In AD DNS I have created a new zone for the external domain e.g. gateway.example.net and an A record pointing to the internal IP of RD Connection Broker server. Worth to mention RD Licensing server is installed on a DC.

Is there anything else I can try to resolve my problem

Many Thanks
