Printer not being redirected in one client/server combination all others work.

hey everyone

I am having a strange issue one one of our office PCs.

It's a windows 7 laptop connecting to two different remotedesktops - one of them is a server 2008 R2 (lets call RDS1) , the other is a virtual Windows 7 machine (VM7).

1) The local windows 7 machine has the a network attached Dell 3765dnf installed - no issues printing here.

2) When connecting to the virtual windows 7 (VM7) machine, the printer gets redirected and is usable in the remote session - no issues printing here.

3) When connecting to the server 2008 R2 none of the locally installed printers (like fax or pdf besides the Dell 3765) are being redirected.

4) When connecting to a different Terminalserver based on Windows Server 2008 R2 the printers are being redirected and usable.

Sounded to me as it was a problem with the server 2008 R2 (RDS1), but when i try any other client pc in the office there is no issue with the printers being redirected!?

I already checked driver versions on all machines, tried to use easyprint drivers , but nothin worked.

Anyone got any hints on how to solve this issue ? Not to sure what else i could do now ....

regards FlorianS
