RDS Collection problem - second server

I'm running 2012 R2 RD Services. I have Two RD Session hosts:

HostRDP1.domain.local [192.168.1.5]  (RDCB, RD Gateway, RD Session Host)
HostRDP2.domain.local [192.168.1.10]  (RD Session Host)

I have a collection created with both these servers in the collection.

The External DNS entry is: rdp.mydomain.com
DNS goes external ip (example): 55.55.55.55 which points to HostRDP1

When someone connects via RDP using rdp.mydomain.com as the address they may get redirected to RDP2. However, when it does that the person is redirected to the INTERNAL ip address (192.168.1.10). That isn't so bad if you're on the internal network but if someone is outside the network, they can't connect.

Also, if I right-click on RDP2 and choose "Do not allow new connections" it still tries to send people to that server on new logins so they get the error "Connections to this server have been disabled." Or something like that.

How do I make it redirect to the second server in a way that people on the OUTSIDE can get to it and how do I get it to realize that if I choose not to allow new connections they should be sent to the other server?
