From which server should I manage my RDS 2012 deployment?

Hi,

A little background.  So I just spun up a new RDS 2012 deployment. Currently I have 3 servers (all internal) and their roles are as follows:

Server1 -- RD Web Access and will eventually also have the Gateway role

Server2 -- Connection broker and will eventually also have the license server portion

Server3 -- is the session host

All servers were put inside to avoid having to put AD joined machine in dmz and eventually when we open up access from the outside, the whole thing will go behind a TMG and external connections will filter through there.

Now my question is about which server I should manage my environment from or does it matter?  When I deployed the server roles I was on Server1 which became my Web access server.  I created an RDS server pool with all 3 servers and ran the RDS wizard from server1.  When I rdp to Server1 (web) and open server manager I see RDS and am greeted with the deployment overview graphic, server list, collection information, etc.  If I rdp directly to server2 (broker) and go to RDS section in server manager all I get is the message "The following servers in this deployment are not part of the server pool: 1. Server1  2. Server3  The servers must be added to the server pool."  If I rdp directly to server3 (session host) and go to RDS section in server manager I get the following message "There are no RD Connection Broker servers in this server pool.  To manage a deployment, you must add all the servers in the deployment to the server pool.  To create a new deployment ..."

So is the answer as simple as I just need to create the pool on server2 and server3 like I did on server1 during installation and I can manage from all any of them?

Is there any of the servers that shouldn't have the pool?

Is there any of the servers that shouldn't be used for RDS deployment management for security reasons?

Realize the question was a little wordy.  Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers.
