Domain user has a desktop and laptop owned by our company and both joined to our domain is using Remote Desktop from their work laptop directly to their work desktop in the office on the LAN wifi or from home over VPN.
Domain user uses their personally owned (or laptop from contracting company) laptop and VPN to remotely connect directly to their Windows 7 laptop on our domain.
Domain user using Remote Desktop Gateway 2012 R2 instead of VPN to reach their work desktop via RDP from their home PC or iPad they own (or subcontractor with laptop belonging to a different AD domain).
What are the CAL requirement differences for all these scenarios?
