the situation:
2 RDS farms: RDS 2008 and 2012.
RDS 2008 has licensing server with 250 CALs (non software assurance)
RDS2012 is functioning during 20 days without CALs activation. SA licenses are available for RDS 2012.
The question:
is it possible to have 2 licensing servers for each farm?
RDS 2008 should be eventually removed. To simplify the life I would like to add a new Server 2012 with RDS Licensing ROLE for serving only RDS 2012 without touching RDS 2008 infrastructure.
Is it possible?
