I have a 2008R2 DC and a 2012R2 RDS server with a trusted domain from another organisation. The permissions on the collection work fine, IE I can create a group in our AD, add the users from the trusted domain and then add the group to the collection. If the user is in the group then they can add the applications to their RemoteApp features of their Windows 7 desktop, they see all 12 apps that I have published.
However when I try to restrict one of those apps to a single user in the edit application properties for user assignment, for example it will be an admin tool that only some users should be able to use, it doesn't seem to work. Anyone in the group for the collection can still see and use the app, and new users that I add to the group still download all 12 app icons in the collection.
I cant find any errors or log files that would cause this, it is as if I havn't added any restrictions for the app at all. Is there anything I can look at that would help me find out why the user assignment part is not working?
