I am trying to figure out what the difference is between RDWA and RDG. I've read all the technet articles I can find, and I'm still a little confused between the two servers, and what their roles are. I'm looking at the architecture map found here (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/video/remote-desktop-services-rds-explained.aspx) and I don't really see a difference. They both seem to allow access over port 443, and they both serve up either RDSH/RDVH resources. The only difference I can see is that the RDG seems to do the authentication, while the RDWA seems to pass on authentication to the RDCB.
What am I missing here?
