default user profile conundrum

interesting issue.  creating a template server for a rdsh farm in 2012r2 that will be cloned out to a farm (VM's).  upd was enabled in the session collection, which isn't a problem for production but had an unanticipated side effect while setting up this machine.

logged into the server as domain\administrator to have access to the mapped drives and network shares where all the software is located.  everything is installed in Install mode and looks great.

but not only were all these software installs not done as the "local" administrator, they were done in a upd, so there doesn't appear to be any way at all to use the Copy To... utility.

Issue: browsing the domain administrator profile the \Windows folder contains a bunch of ini files and other config files i would expect to see in every user profile to enable all the software to function correctly in RDS, but since there doesn't appear to be a way to copy this to the default, what do you do?

Tested a logon and as expected the default user profile is used, and i don't get any of the necessary config files.  Any thoughts?
