I know this question has been asked before but the answers indicated to me that no one understood the question.
I have a 2008 TS that is serving up the SQL Management Studio via remoteapp.
When I launch the app it works fine. However, I have 2 20" 1600X1200 monitors. I want to be able to move the non maximized remote app to the second monitor (on my left). I can do this at home but not at work (both with 2 20" monitors).
I DO NOT want to span this remoteapp across both monitors. Nor have I had to use the /span parameter for MSTSC (at home) to move the remoteapp from one monitor to the other.
When I attempt to move the remoteapp from the center monitor at work to the left monitor it will not move it (it acts like I am just trying to move it off the screen).
I read somewhere that you have to have the main monitor in the middle and the second on the right for this to work. I tried this and it still did not work.
Any suggestions? I am using VISTA (and) Windows 7 with the latest TS client.
I have tried using the span monitors:i:1 and span monitors:i:0 in the RDP file/custom RDP settings for web remoteapp to no avail.
