RD License Server and RODC

Hi,

I have an environment consisting of four RD Session Host servers, 2 RD Gateway servers (of which one is also the licensing server about which I am posting and the other is a Session Broker) and two RODCs providing authentication from the domain (this entire environment is separated by firewall from the writable domain controllers). All RD servers are Server 2008 R2 SP1 and the RODCs are Server 2012.

I have two issues with this environment:

1. When I log on to a Session Host (with a Domain Administrator account) and open the Licensing Diagnosis MMC I am told:

The Remote Desktop Session Host Server Configuration tool is running with local account credentials. In Licensing Diagnosis, the Total Number of licenses Available value may be inaccurate.

This occurs whether or not I run the snapin explicitly as Administrator. Apart from this issue the snapin appears to work correctly and is reporting the information I expect.

2. On the licensing server I have a number of TerminalServices-Licensing ID 4105 errors (The Remote Desktop license server cannot update the license attributes for user **** in the Active Directory Domain ****... Win32 error code: 0x8007054b). The review configuration tool in RD Licensing Manager reports "The system cannot determine if the license server is registered as service connection point(SCP) in Active Directory Domain Services(AD DS) because the AD DS cannot be contacted." The DynamicSiteName property in the registry is correct and the server is correctly authenticating users against the RODCs. I am also receiving errors on the Session Host servers stating "Remote Desktop Session Host server was unable to retrieve users Licensing information from AD. Error 0x8007054b".

Please let me know if you require any further information.
