Hello everyone,
I'm having an issue with remote desktop in combination with microphone redirection.
When connection to the remote server remote audio is being sent from the server to the host but the microphone is not recognized. (audio service is started)
I've checked the settings on the host and connected to a different server on a different domain (same settings, different client) without any issues or without any changes to their configuration.
I'm pretty sure the problem is somewhere on the domain.
I've changed GPO settings and checked registry's and everything looks normal.
As a troubleshooting step i've also disabled all the GPO's without succes.
This site is running Hyper-v and all servers are up to date Server 2012R2's
What would be a good troubleshootings step as al the searching results i've come up with come back to the following steps which i already did:
- enable microphone redirection on the host
- start audio service on server
- change GPO settings to allow recording of microphone (device and resource redirection)
- change registry settings on the server to enable microphone recording (fDisableAudioCapture)
